Sugar  FILTRATE CLARIFICATION SYSTEM

FILTRATE CLARIFICATION SYSTEM  is based on  phosphoflotation process. In this process the tri calcium phosphate is being formed and  after heating upto 75 deg. C  the  anionic polymer being added . The pH of treated juice will be around 7.0 - 7.50 . The scum obtained from this process goes to mud  tank of rotary filter and clear liquor is taken to sulphited juice receiving  tank.

BENEFITS:   

-FILTRATE CLARIFICATION  has following advantages :     

-It  gives purity rise by 2.00 to 4.00 units in filtrate juice.

-It  removes almost  90 - 95 % suspended impurities .

-It  improves  colour of sugar by around 10 %

-Its usage reduces the load on juice clarifier thus increases the capacity of clarifier .

-It   helps in reducing the ash % in the sugar. It reduces substantially quantity of lime & sulpher as treated filtered juice is directly sent to sulphited juice.
